BRISTOL CHAI GUY

Indian inspired Identity for Chai vender Chai guy pedalling his cardamon infused Chai and tandoori toasties to the streets of Bristol. Steve serves proper homemade Chai from a converted Asian tricycle named Hyacinth.

Masala Chai is a mixed-spice tea made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. The Chai guy logotype is a nod to Hindi Devanagari script using the horizontal line that runs along the top of full letters. The teapot on wheels symbol is based on a colonial Indian teapot with a larger wheel at the front to mimic their Asian tricycle. Chai Guy was involved in a collaborative making and launch of Chai Pale Ale. The Chai Guy logotype was the main focus and look to the ale and was used on their packaging design and ale bar tap.
